Soaring, sickening, screeming, soaking wet fun

The rides at Californialand were AMAZING.

Soaring over California where you fly over California's most famous landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, Yosamite, Big Sur, Napa Valley wine region, LA at night. You're lifted up in this chair so it really feels like you're flying.

The Hollywood Tower of Terror. Yes - its every bit as terrifying as it looks. Its a grand old Hollywood era hotel, which has become a little... run down. Guests are required to use the service elevators where they're taken into.... The Twilight Zone! See on the right of this picture there are two doors which appear to be open? Well you go flying up god knows how high in the service elevator - when the door open - just long enough for you to look out over the Disneyland parks - then you plumet to what i was convinced was going to be my death.

This was the most insane rollercoaster. I loved it! Sure I might have only been on the Mad Mouse and the Scenic Railyway at Luna Park before this. But you're catapoulted from the starting poin picured below right up the first ramp and then its on like Kong from there.

The other stand out ride was the Grizzly River Run. Its basically white water rafting (only you know you wont drown at Disneyland because its the happiest place on earth). And you just get saturated. We loved it so much - went went on it again straight away!
