The Rocky Mountains, eh?

It was just one beautiful vista after another. Amazing. Can't wait to go back.

The farm in Canada, eh?

Mum and I stayed on a beautiful farm in Alberta, with friends of hers from when she was in primary school! It was so great to finally meet the person who I am named after. And I must say - the name Sherry must be a great omen, as she is wonderful just like me! Hahahahaha!

This is Pie, the biggest cat I have ever seen. Not really fat - just HUGE!!!!!

Lethbridge Canada, eh?

I hadn't arrived in Canada yet, but Mum made a trip down to Lethbridge Canada, much bigger than our little Lethbridge in Victoria!

They have an Ice Hockey team! Go Canes!

Mind the Gap

Pussycat, Pussycat where have you been?

I've been to London to visit the Queen!

In order to be able to stay in the US, i had to leave the country - which meant that I got to visit London! What I saw was only a drop in the ocean, as I was only there for 7 days - but I'll definetly be back!

My trip was off to a great start with a fantastic lunch at a great English pub, with a creek running at the back... it was like something out of a picture book.

While I was staying out in the country I also got to see Stonehenge which was terrific. I can't believe they moved those great big slabs of Bluestone all the way from Wales, about 4700 years ago!

This is the house where I stayed when I was out in the countryside. Again, it was like out of a picture book. So English! There was even a creek running out the back where they went fly fishing.

Over the weekend I went and stayed with my long lost cousin and it was great not only catching up, but having my own personal tour guide of London!

Big Ben and the Houses of Parliment - just amazing buildings. So detailed, so huge!

During the afternoon we strolled along the Thames, past the Dali gallery, and past the London Eye. Past Shakespears Globe (where I'd love to see a show on a longer visit).

Later in the day we anchored into a pub where I discovered Cider! I have so much to learn!

Sunday they took me out to Camden Market which was great, so punk! I easily could have wondered around there all day.

Also did the Aussie thing and went to a Walkabout Club and had a Snakebite (half beer, half cider, and red cordial). Unfortunately the location where Dad has a life membership for is now closed, but by the looks of the croud there - nothing much has changed since 1977.

Also had a ride on a double decker bus! Whoo!

Also made a quick trip out to Buckingham Palace to visit the Queen.

Boston - the city, not my cat

A well overdue post.

A few weeks back i had a Planes, Trains and Automobiles and eventually made it all the way across the country to Boston for a work conference. The conference was... interesting... got to experience the nightlife of Boston anyways!

After the conference was over I was able to get out and about in Boston a little to take some photos and see the sites.

Firsts stop was Fenway Park, ballpark to the Boston Redsox. I'm sure I'll be back there later in the year, but I really wanted to see it while it was open for Citizenship day. Yup, there are now even more Americans!

I went to Harvard. Thats right! Sure, it was only for a day... well... for about an hour... but I really got a kick out of visiting Harvard! I just felt smarter being there.

TD Banknorth Garden - Home of the Boston Celtics - and where Murray and I have courtside tickets for later this year! Whoo!

Where everyone knows your name.... Cheers! The original Cheers bar (downstairs). Apparently this looks nothing like the one we know from TV, but this is the bar it was based on. There is also a replica bar nearby which does look like the one on TV.
