Local review: La Zarzuela

After an exhausting trip to Brisbane, we headed out for dinner last night. There are loads of restuarants just near us - it was so hard to choose!

We settled on Spanish - as neither of us had ever gone to a Spanish restuarant before - so La Zarzuela it was!

We decided to go without a main, and just to make a meal out of Tapas - they all looked so good! We had...

Tottilla Espanola - Spanish Potato Omelette. This was okay - but a little bland... it went fantastically though with the Chorizo - Spanish Spicy Sausage. Mmmm - can't get enough of that stuff! Murray loved the Gambas Al Ajillo - Sizzling garlic prawns with a touch of chilli, and even I tried about half a centimeter of one! The garlic sauce was lovely... just the prawn was urky! But by far, the Patatas Bravas - Potatoes with spicey sauce, were the best! They were just great!

I definetly think that we'll be back - but with 78 venues in Crows Nest listed on Eatability.com I think we'll have to try a few others!

Hoooley dooooley - 110 restaurants in Crows Nest listed on Yellow Pages!

(I read the reviews for La Zarzuela on the above website - and its obviously true that people share thier unpleasant experiences - because if I'd read the reviews before hand I certainly wouldn't have gone. But for a casual meal - it was great!)
